● TINA TOMBS
Born in Montreal, Quebec, in 1962, and raised in Bedford, NH. Tina is married to Larry Fischer and has two daughters: Sarah and Heidi. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Physical Education and a Minor in Anatomy and Physiology. She is the founder and President of Tina Tombs Golf, LLC at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in Phoenix Arizona. Tina Tombs Golf was established in 2002.
Tina was a varsity athlete on the golf team at ASU from 1980 to 1985. While at ASU, she was ranked among Golf Digest’s top 10 amateur golfers in the USA and a three-time all-American. In 1987, Tina qualified for the LPGA Tour and began a 14-year playing career. The highlight of her LPGA career was winning the 1990 Jamie Farr Toledo Classic.
In 2004 Tina decided to continue her golfing career by establishing a premier teaching academy at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. Tina uses state of the art technology in her teaching academy. This includes JC Video Swing analysis, Two Machine Vision Cameras, Flightscope Launch Monitor and Smart2Move foot pressure plates. These tools are all included in her individual golf lessons, clinics and corporate functions. She is a certified AimPoint Express green reading instructor, as well as a certified Bioswing Dynamics instructor. Tina Tombs teaches the “Game Within The Game”.
As the founder and President of Tina Tombs Golf at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, she holds the role of Director of Instruction, as well as carries out the responsibility to implement all of the education and teaching programs. These programs include private lessons, women’s programs, adult programs and junior programs. These highly sought after programs are designed to benefit the students and provide a well-rounded and individually structured education that implements The Ultimate Golf Lesson Screenings and follows the LPGA Teaching Programs.
During your private, group, corporate or clinic session we will incorporate a balanced curriculum with an individual emphasis on bio mechanics and a personal attention to each athlete. Our philosophy is based on proper golf club fitting, peak mental performance training, course management and health fitness. The ability to customize instruction and coaching technologies to individual goals, different styles of learning, and a personal abilities ensures a tailored approach to help individuals elevate theirs skills, and add enjoyment to the great game of golf.

● Off the Course
Tina’s work does not stop at the golf course. She also engages with the community through her involvement in the following charities: Wings of Gold as Arizona State University, Barrow’s Neurological Institute, Boys and Girls Club and various Breast Cancer organizations nationally.
In addition to these roles, as the LPGA Teacher of the Year it is her honor and responsibility to carry out the mission of the LPGA.

In the 1987, Tina qualified fot the LPGA Tour and began a 14 year career with the LPGA Touring division. The highlight of her LPGA career was winning the 1990 Jamie Farr Toledo Classic.

● ASU Hall Of Fame
Considered one of the best to play for legendary ASU coach Linda Vollstedt, earned first-team All-America honors in 1984 and honorable mention All-America recognition in 1984. Was a first-team All-Pac-10 member in 1984 and a second-team member in 1983 and 1985. Was a member of two Western Collegiate Athletic Association championship teams (1984-1985), and was a conference medalistin 1984. Tina then went on to a successful profesional career playing on the LPGA Tour.
